I am a graduate of National Law Academy of Ukraine. I spend free time reading books and watching movies, shows in Polish. I do handmade sometimes and I can give you, guyss, some tips on it. I dedicate a lot of time to English because I work as English instructor in language school. I'm into Polish language cuisine and traditions, so if you have the same passion we can share it together
I've spent a year in the USA as a FLEX exchange student and lived on Alaska and in Washington State. I earned unforgettable memories and valuable experience gave me a lot and I want to share it with everyone.
I've participated in Camp UNITY twice and now I can't wait to meet all of you guys again!

I have previous experience of being a participant in the Peace Corps camps, among them were: Camp HEAL, Camp MAKE, Camp Model UN and ABC Camp. I also took part in different projects organized by a Peace Corps Volunteer from my school a few years ago. I LOVE traveling - I've been to Washington DC, Baltimore, New York, Hershey, West Virginia and got a chance to go to Oregon at the beginning of my exchange year :)
I always said that camps like this one are like America, but not in America :) I am really excited to be a part of Camp UNITY this summer and meet a lot of new people :)

Buenos dias!
Look out of the window - depressing cloudy skies have gone and the sun is smiling to you, summer is just around the corner. What does it mean? You are so right, Camp UNITY is about to start! Yaa!
My name is Dasha and I am from Dnipropetrovsk. I study International Economics at Oles Honchar University. I am a person who continuously strives for learning new things and never can sit still. Two years ago I was lucky to become a FLEX student, and spent my senior year in a small cozy southern town Oxford (not the one you thought about though :D), the state of Mississippi and it was absolutely wonderful!
After coming back I've been an active alumna, teaching English, spreading the idea of volunteerism and sharing the experience I've received. Recently I have also participated in Study Tours to Poland - an educational program for students from Eastern Europe and spent two amazing weeks in old Krakow.
It is my first time being a counselor in Camp Unity and I can't hardly wait to meet YOU! YOU are awesome and I am looking forward to knowing YOU!

Daryna Lapay
Kharkiv
FLEX placement: Arizona, 2006-2007
They say every coin has two sides. This statement is about Daryna Lapay. It does not mean that during the day she is a human being and at night she turns into a werewolf. It is implied that at work and by studying she is a mature, educated specialist, but when the work is done she turns into Peter Pen, a child who does not want to grow up.
Daryna works as an English and German teacher at Kharkiv Linguistic School “I LOVE English”. She cannot stay at one place for a long time, that is why, she loves to travel. For example, as an exchange student on FLEX program she spent one year in Gilbert, Arizona. While being in America she visited such beautiful places, like San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, Milwaukee, and, of course Phoenix, the capital of Arizona.
Daryna was lucky to be a counselor in Camp MAKE-2012 and to be the director of this fabulous camp in 2013. After that fantastic time that changes world perception, she understood that life consists of white and black stripes, but in Camp MAKE life becomes vivid like a rainbow. That is why this year she is happy to continue her work with Ukrainian youth in CAMP UNITY.
